Facilities

The hospital currently has 45 beds with an ambition to increase this to 50. In addition to this there is a substantial garden area where patients can sit outside and meet with friends and relatives. Inside the hospital building there is a play and entertainment room where TV programmes can be watched and indoor games can be played.
The hospital has a library facility for mental health practitioners. Some of the main text books in psychiatry and psychiatric journals are available. ‘The American Journal of Psychiatry’, ‘Psychiatric Services’, ‘Indian Journal of Psychiatry’ and ‘Journal of Addiction’ are annually subscribed with the financial support of the World Health Organisation, Nepal office.
